How to Link Credit Card in Cash App?
Step 1: If you don’t have the Cash app, download and install the Cash app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). This is a free app so you will not be charged any fee for the download.
Step 2: For a new user complete the signup process for login to Cash App. But, if you are an existing user then you can login with your existing credentials.
Step 3: Once logged in, you will be taken to the Cash App home screen. Look for the profile icon (a small person-shaped icon) on the top-left corner of the screen and tap on it. This will take you to your account settings.
Step 4: Tap on the “Linked Bank” option. On the next page, you will get the option to link your credit card as “+ Link Credit Card”.
Step 5: Select the “+ Link Credit Card” tab and enter your credit card details. You need to enter the following details:
- Credit Card Number: Type in the 16-digit number on the front of your credit card.
- Expiry Date: Enter the expiry date and year of your credit card.
- CVV: CVV (Card Verification Value) is the three-digit code located on the back of your credit card. Enter it in the appropriate field.
- Zip Code: Enter the zip code associated with your credit card billing address. Tap on the Link Card option.
Cash App will verify your credit card details to ensure the information is with your bank. A small charge may apply to your credit card, which is refunded later. You can check your credit card statement for the exact amount of the charge.

How to Transfer Money from a Credit Card in Cash App?
You can use the credit card option to send and receive funds as well as shop online or at stores that accept Cash App payments. So first of all, link your credit card with your Cash App by following the above steps:
- Open Cash App and Enter the amount. Then tap the Pay tab.
- Choose the recipient to whom you want to send the money.
- Tap the amount you’re sending.
- Select your credit card from the list for transfer.
- Now, tap the Pay tab to send money from your credit card.
